Message that they run in excess of 180 degrees to increase efficiency and lower emissions(which we don't care), increase fuel economy. It's not bullshit or theory. It is part of automotive engineering for todays engines. Todays engines run 15 to 20 degrees hotter than engines of 20 years ago. You think that is by chance? You think you are doing your engine a favor by running colder than 180? If you think so then you are ignoring the stock engine operating temperatures that was design by Nissan.

Of course when you boost your temps will increase . Therefore in racing situations (not street) you run a colder temp thermostat to increase your reserve cooling capacity temp range. I don't care about Ash's electric fan setup.
